"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us...neither height nor depth, nor anything elsein all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:35,37,39
"So we, too have put our faith in Christ Jesus, that we might be made right God because we trusted in Christ. It is not because we followed the law, because no one can be made right with God by following the law."
Galatians 2:16
The Gift

You'd be suprised if you knew how many blessings God wants to give you. And all of these gifts are found in the gift of God- His own dear Son. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life"(John 3:16). God gave His Son. Isaiah prophesied 600 years before Christ came. "A Son is given" (Isaiah 9:6). Paul, speaking of God's Son, wrote,"Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable Gift" (2.Corinthians 9:15). You want peace with God? You long for
hope
? You seek forgiveness? God wants to give you all this ! You yearn for hope? You want to know for sure that you are saved- that you have eternal life? God wants to give you eternal life!

Your Need

A police officer said, "Oh, that I had a telegram from heaven telling me that my sins were forgiven." Perhaps you are like that office. You know you are a sinner because the Bible says,"All have sinned." (Romans 3:23).
Then you must know that you are under the penalty of death, "For the wages if sin is death" (Romans 6:23).
But !  "God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8).
The Lord  Jesus proved His love for you when He gave His blood, His life, on the Calvary cross  to pay the wages of sin.
He rose again! Now He is seated at "the right hand of the Majesty on high"(Hebrews 1:3). God offers His Risen Son to you as His GIFT. Receive His Gift! You will not only have Him, but you will have all that God offers you in Him.  All of God's gifts are found in the Gift of His Son.
FORGIVENESS: "In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins"(Ephesians 1:7).
PEACE: "He is our peace"(Ephesians 2:14). When you receive Him, you'll have peace.
ETERNAL LIFE: "This  is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son"(1.John 5:11-12). "He that hath the Son hath life."
You cannot work for salvation. You will never deserve forgiveness. You cannot merit peace. But God will give you all these blessings in His Son. Your part is to take God' Gift, His Son, as your Lord and Savior. "As  many as received Him, to them gave He power (the right) to become the sons (children) of God"(John 1:12). What a tragedy to refuse God's Gift!
Tell the Lord Jesus Christ you receive Him now.

"I mean that you been saved by grace through believing.
You did not save yourselves; it was a Gift from God.
It was not the result of your own efforts, so you cannot brag about it."

JOY AT EASTER

" He is not here; He has risen, just as he said."
(Matthew 28:6a)
Is't it wonderful to know that we serve a Living Saviour? This knowledge brings us peace and encouragement, especially when we face war, or when we suffer from illness and perhaps must face death. I hope that today's message will strengthen your hope, deeper your faith and help you face many other uncertainties. Easter is a meaningful and sacred holiday for all Christians because of Christ's death on the Cross of Calvary and His glorious resurrection on the third day. Christian believers throughout the world rejoice at Easter time, not because of material things such as chocolate eggs or e few days off wrk and school, but because of spiritual significance.
The Miracle of Easter   is the facts that Jesus Christ, who was miraculously born of the Virgin Mary, who performed many mighty supernatural events of mercy, who died on the cross on Good Friday, arose from the dead so gloriously and victoriously on that first Easter Sunday. Millions of people died before and after Christ, but only He conquered death and came out of the grave. Apostle Peter tells us about it in Acts 2:24:
"God raised Him (Jesus) from death, setting Him free from its power, because it was impossible that death should hold Him."
The Meaning of Easter is the fact that now we have a Living Saviour. We don't have to be afraid of death any longer because in Christ Jesus, death is destroyed. Praise be to God! Now we have that living hope of eternal life. This knowledge changes our sadness into gladness and our limping doubt into leaping faith. It fills us with peace and hope espacially when we are saying farewell to those loved ones who are leaving this world, or when we ourselves must go through the valey of the shadows of death.
The true Message of Easter is that Jesus died so that we may have live. He took our place on the cross and by His death, He paid the penalty for all our sins. Now He offers forgiveness and life to all that receives Him as their saviour. John 1:12 tells us that "....all who receive Him (Jesus), to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God." This God's message is as real and encouraging today, as it was 2,000 years ago. He says; " you must not be afraid, I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He has been risen just as He said.Come here and see the place where He was lying." (Matthew 28:5-6)
Today we rightly rejoice because, as the old hymn states: " I serve a risen Saviour, He's in the world today; I know that He is living, whatever men may say; I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer; and just the time I need Him, He's always near. He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today! He walks with me and talks with me along life's narrow way. He lives, He lives, salvation to impart! You ask me how I know He lives? He lives in my heart"
